I finally made it out to the woods for some spring turkey hunting. It was
a great time. The woods was alive with all kinds of sounds,
frogs, woodpeckers, squirrels, all kinds of birds but one, Tom wasn't talking! Well the season not over yet.

went to where I shot my buck this past November.This was a big oak tree that hide my large silhouette quite well. It all looks
different in the spring. I sat and took a little break and thought about that hunt again and hoping a big Tom would walk by but, no
such luck
.

I don't think this oak was around in 1761 but I would like to think it was. |
