Turkey Call

While I was waiting on some leather dye to dry on a leather project, I pulled out one of my old wing bone calls that I made from a turkey I had taken a long time ago. I had been thinking about trying to make up a smaller call, something I could carry in my pocket or in my shot bag. The old ones were long using two full size bones to make the call.
8 1/2" long
So I carefully took one apart and shorten up both bones and then fitted them back together and made up a smaller call.
6" long
I like the way it turned out. The smaller call makes a higher pitch call the longer one makes a deeper and more rasper sound. Both sound good and give me a option when trying to call in that wise old tom.
