Heart shaped bag

After a long time absent from posting my work, here is some photos of my most resent bag. The bag is heart shaped and made from 3 oz. veg tanned leather, hand stitched with linen thread, dyed a dark brown and treated with pure linseed oil and wax. The inside has a large pocket the full width of the bag and divided in half. The flap has some simple tooling done on the front side and striped linen added to the backside and is held closed with a brass button. The detail of the strap can be seen in the photo along with it's forged 1" buckle. The bag size is 7" wide x 9" deep.
