Sheaths for the Late 1800
I was asked by a customer to make up sheaths for a plain old butcher knife and another for a old well used belt axe. This is what I came up with. The axe sheath is made to wear on a belt also.

Bottle Canteen
The customer provided their own bottle for this great looking leather covered water bottle. My wife does an outstanding job on covering the different bottle we have offered. Once the leather is dried, Gail stitches it in place. I stitch the bottoms in and add the strap and finish the leather with dye and seal with beeswax.

The birds were there but just weren’t interested in what I was offering. It was a good day to be in the woods. Hopefully I have better luck for round two, the fall hunt!
Martin’s Station, Spring of 2023
