First finished item for the new year. I picked up this belt axe this past fall and made up the shoulder carriage for it. From the makers mark it was made by Larry Zornes from the Mold & Gunshop. I believe it’s a cast head. The carriage is made from veg. tanned leather 4/5 oz. stained a very dark brown and treated with nests foot oil and finished off with bee’s wax. The strap is 3/4 in wide, fitted with a iron buckle.
