Bags for the CLA show.

I received a phone call one day last week from Bill Pritchard, he is a gun maker from Kentucky, he had seen some of my belt pouches that I had posted on the CLA site for sale. He like the looks of one of the pouches and was wondering if I could make two just a little larger with no frills, no lining or pockets in side the bag and no straps he would add his own. Bill believes that the bags made in the early 18th century where made small and with out lining and all the pockets that we find in today's bags.   Plain & Simple!
He is going to display these bags along with some of his guns at the big CLA show in August.

Bag #1
Is made from 4-5 oz. veg. tanned leather, hand sewn with linen thread and dyed a dark brown and treated with bee's wax. The bag finished size is 7"x7" with a 1 1/2" gusset, there is no lining or pockets in side the bag as requested by Bill.

 Bag #2
This bag is made the same as above but is only 6 1/2" wide and 7" deep with the 1 1/2" gusset and again no lining or pockets in side the bag.
